A Star Tuition Rugby, is an established Tutoring Centre in the heart of Rugby, Warwickshire. Providing small group (max 4 students) tuition from Primary level through to GCSE. We are seeking flexible, part-time tutors available for midweek after school tuition. All tuition takes place at our centre in Rugby
Earn between £20-£25/hr dependant on level and group size. A Star Tuition Rugby provides students for tutors and a learning space for tuition to take place. Lessons are planned by the tutors using their own, and A Star Tuition's materials.
Tutor responsibilities and duties
- Deliver small group tutoring sessions at our tutoring centre in Rugby.
- Prepare and deliver tutoring sessions to best meet the academic needs and goals of the student.
- Clarify and teach the required subject matter.
- Assess the student's knowledge on a regular basis.
Our ideal tutors
- Are required to take students through the whole school year.
- Are qualified teachers/ experienced tutors/ teaching assistants and/or have a bachelor's degree.
- Have good subject knowledge and understanding of the national curriculum, up to GCSE/A-Level.
- Have previous teaching/tutoring experience.
- Have or willing to obtain a DBS certificate.
- Care about helping students improve and achieve academically.
- Have excellent communication skills.
- Are flexible, organised, reliable and punctual.
- Have access to own transport and local to Rugby.
